We went to school with these guys and love everything about them. They’re currently on their honeymoon spending a month or so in Greece. The whole day was fun.

David Bazan [of Pedro The Lion] played a few weeks ago at the Habitat House in Golden Hill. As big fans of Pedro The Lion, it was cool to get a chance to hang with him for a bit and listen to some of his new work. Good times.

We also snagged a video of his song “Hard To Be” live from the living room. Check it out below…
Went and saw these guys the other night at The Loft. They put on such a good show. Definitely worth it.

Check out their latest music video for their song “The Stranger”
If you’ve ever seen a Feist music video, live show, or her DVD of “Look At What The Light Did Now,” you’ve definitely seen the work of Clea Minaker. She’s an amazing person and creates beautiful scenes and stories through light and shadows. She recently came down to San Diego to work with the Museum of Art’s youth program and performed an exhibition at our very own Habitat House.

Check out the trailer for the DVD below…
We went out and shot some promo shots for Will Shine. He’s a local San Diego who recently transplanted to Hawaii to pursue some life endeavors over there. You can check out some of his stuff here.

We can’t get enough of these guys! They’re our friends, but they’re all also amazing musicians and put on a great show everytime.

Last week we traveled up to Filter Magazine in Los Angeles with our friends over at Sezio to document Writer & Chairs Missing and their live performance in the Dickies Garage. It was a great time followed up by a show at Spaceland in Silver Lake. It’s always fun to shoot these guys.

I recently had the beautiful opportunity to travel with my friend Daniel Holcomb on one of his many adventures as a coffee roasting master. We trekked up through Central California and crossed over into Northern Nevada to check out some roasting equipment for his new shop. On the way back we stopped in Inyo National Park in California to brew some coffee in the snow. It all made the trip worth it.

Last night our friends over at the Habitat House brought in Minnesota natives Peter Pisano and Brian Moen, better known as Peter Wolf Crier, to play a secret acoustic show in the attic. The space was awesome and the atmosphere was intimate and interactive. It was a fun night with these guys for sure.
